Staff Appreciation Thank You

Yesterday morning, numerous tiny hands clutched blossoms, trying to be mindful of the delicate petals while incredibly eager to share them with their teachers. As I watched two children bouncing off to their groups, flowers gripped in their hands, I heard the following exchange:

child 1: "I have flowers for my teachers!"

child 2: "Me too!"

child 1: "No, you have three."

child 2: "One, two, three...."

child 1: "I am going to give these to my teachers to say thank you."

child 2: "Me too!"

child 1: "Telling people thank you makes them feel special. I hope they feel special because these are my favorite, best-specialist flowers."

child 2: "Flowers always make people happy."

Thank you so much for participating in Staff Appreciation Week through the beautiful banners, as well as the flowers, notes and treats. What a bright and lovely way to begin the week!
